I will be getting a 03 STI with ppp fitted.

I will be fitting myself a RCM maf filter, bosch 044 fuel pump, turbosmart BOV and RCM team ice backbox, centre section and down pipe fully decatted

Question is im am going to need it mapped, which im hopeing JGM will be doing for me, so i am going to take it to rolling road in surrey where it will be mapped. Will i be ok to drive it down there with the mods fitted?

it should be ok to drive as long as you dont hammer the bollocks of of it on the way down.

 

If you stay off boost it will not be a problem!
I doubt it would be one even if you floor it, as you increase fuel delivery and your car will see more fuel than before!

 

yep it will be ok to drive just dont run it on boost and take it nice and steady

 

If you are fitting a RCM induction kit with a larger diameter bore then you will need to have the MAF rescaled. I'd ask JGM what he thinks about this one as this will affect off boost performance as well because the ECU will be getting false MAF readings.

If it's just a replacement filter you will be OK just running off boost
