Default ECutek limp mode?

once an ecutek have been tune on an ecu is it possible to go to limp mode?

how do we go about resetting this?

Yes, it's possible. You need someone with a laptop and cable or a handheld OBD device or even an LM-2 if it's a newage car.

Sure a local garage could do it for a small fee but if you put your location up sure someone can suggest somewhere.

As Semper said - you very possible. Obviously it shouldn't do but get the fault diagnosed and speak to your mapper.

no check engine or whatever but how come it is now only boosting .5 bar boost as before it was program to run 1.1 bar

Can i able to reset the ecu without going to a mapper just by using a obd2 reset?

Which year is the car?

You redone any of the pipework around the boost solenoid? Possibly got them the wrong way around?

The ECuTeK remap keeps the safety features so it can still go into limp mode.....The ECU should throw a CEL as to why it's decided to protect the engine.

In limp mode it should't go above 3000 RPM either. I'd guess something has dropped off somewhere.

or a bad batch of petrol,take it to local garage and see what cel comes up

no cel came about and will rev all the way to redline without any hesitation. anyone has any idea why this is ?
