Default Are these legal for MOT??

Folks, bought a very cheap set of subaru alloys a while back with a set of tyres on them and as these wheels have the same stud pattern as my Toyota i was gonna fit them for MOT tomorrow and use themuntil i can get a set of decent 15 inch tyres.

However the tyres that are on the wheels seem to be a sort of gravel spec or snow tyre of some sort and im not sure whether they are road legal at all or will even pass the MOT so i would like some advice from anyone that knows??

The tyres are Yokohamas and Falkens, take a look and tell me what you think for MOT tomorrow:

It doesnt state anywhere on the tyres that they are not for road use !!

Any info appreciated here

looks all ok to me assuming they are the same size, load, construction etc - tread pattern is not an issue so long as it has more than 1.6mm.

They are two pairs ( 2 x Yokohamas and 2 x Falkens) so should be matched ok that way, and there is loads of tread, they are nearly new

Yeah pics arent great, was just worried that thay were a gravel only tyre or something daft like that!!

Dont know what they will be like on the road though, but if i get through the MOT i will be putting on a set of new 195/50/15 tyres anyway so they will jsut be on for a week or so at the most

Gonna go get them screwed on now

My wife has a similar tread pattern on her front tyres on her Nissan and that passed it's MOT a few months ago. As said as long as the speed rating is correct and the sizes are the same all should be fine.

There snow tyres i think Ive seen them on a few Imports. should be ok for MOT. I think if they are snow tyres they will be very soft rubber so wont last long on the road.

Im pretty sure E mark is only for SVA purposes, doesn't come into the MOT!
