Weird noise. Sounds like air being squeezed out of a balloon?
Changed back to Recirc DV from blanking it off the other day.
I drove the car for the first time this morning to work and once you hit 0.5bar you get this noise like when you have a ballon blown up and you pinch the end to let the air out making that squeeking noise.
I wasn't sure what it was so to it up to 1.3bar and it got even louder. So backed right off and cruised to work like normal.
Now, could this be the vaccum hose or maybe the IC itself leaking (I use two gaskets for the DV) .
Never heard this type of noise before?
Any ideas?
Steve

Hey stig,
I used a brand new gasket. The blanker over the IC was a Baileys DV that had been mutated to act as a blanker on the IC itself and the plug plug blocked off the intake.
It was just a try and test. All worked before hand. Maybe the thread on the IC is a little frail and has given up the ghost now? Didn't think it would cause that amount of noise though?
I can't even check whilst at work as it's pissing it down with rain. lol So will have a look when I get home in my garage.
