Default Engine removal, what about air-con????

im taking my engine out of my 2002 sti. and im wondering if it will come out without having to disturb the air con system because i dont want to have to have it regassed. Any other tips for a virgin engine remover would be appreciated.
thanks

Just unbolt the compressor mounting bracket from the block and swing the compressor out of the way (still attatched to it's pipework) while you lift the engine out.

Yeah, you can just swing it away to the side, it should sit nicely in the battery tray until you remove the engine, then you can rest it on the sub frame. I left most things on the engine when i pulled it out, it seemed easier to remove th aux items once removed.
