Default there's always the slowing down as well

my scooby is running standard brakes at the mo, i was wondering if i could improve them any way without spending to much. somebody said try fitting green brake pads is this correct and if so would there be much difference.

Which model do you have as there are several options available starting with 2 pots, going to subaru 4 pots, alcons and 4 pot sti brembo's.

its a 2.5 wrx hawkeye don't no what the brakes are tho

Subaru 4 pots 294mm
Disc and pad upgrade is probably your cheapest option, the discs are not exactly expensive (compared to the Brembo 4 pots on the STI) so pads, mintex 1144/1155 ferodo 2500's, pagid blues (though this is where its going to be a little more expensive) or performance friction pads.
Your next step would be STI brakes but you need the wheels also unless you have upgraded new age 17/18 inch wheels?
