I fitted a Fuelab regulator and increased the static pressure to 4 bar... saves swapping injectors. I managed 390 bhp at 94 % on the injectors. 2002 STI also !

I don't know if a 20g is a 400 bhp turbo, so can't comment.

I am running a 2002 STi at 400 bhp, specs are FP Green turbo, 650cc Injectors, APS 3 inch Exhaust with sports cat, GEMS ECU, APS fuel distribution system, APS metal inlet pipe and Aeromotive FPR @ 3 bar. Lovely to drive round town and fun when opened up.

I would revise your specs personally.

For starters stick with your current TMIC and use 3 bolt headers instead. The select a turbo carefully and get the breathing right. Uprated rads are unnecessary in the equation too.

Find a reputable mapper and have a word about what you want to achieve and they will put you in the right direction.

hello thanks for your answers..

the mapper told me following items to put in :

- Perrin 3" Downpipe with Cat
- Perrin 3" Rear Catalyst
- Perrin Dualtube Exhaust
- Walbro Fuel Pump
- Changing Uppipe to Kakumei Uppipe and leave header as it is...
- 650cc Injectors
- Agencypower Hard Inlet Pipe
- Denso Ik24 spark plugs
- ACT Clutch to hold that power it is SB4HDSS
- Fuel Rail
- FPR to set at 3.5 Bar
- TD05H-20G Turbocharger
- Oil Cooler ?? really needed?

if i have the parts ordered and everything together i should bring him the car and he will map it to reach about 400 hp ... he tolld me that this is enough for the original engine because i will blew the engine up with 400 hp is that right??
i will also put a bigger Radiator in it that he have more coolant...

hope the mapper told me the right parts

Td05 generally not a 400bhp turbo without funny fuel! 370-380 more common.

I am assuming that the car is bugeye? It should not blow up at 400bhp.

If you've got the dosh, then the turbo of choice (for many) for a 2.0 with AVCS is the MD321T. Good for around 450!!! with great spool-up, etc, etc. Will make full boost easily before 4k...

I think that's the more common range mate, yes.

I think the 400 bhp thing comes from people saying that the TD05-16G is a 350bhp turbo and just going up in 20 or so bhp increments from there.

Truth is some cars have made 350 on a 16G, more often than not, it more 330ish, just as some cars report making 400 on a 20G, more often than not it's around 380. I'd argue that if you absolutely WANT 400, then the TD05 20G is not the turbo you should be going for. If you're happy in the ballpark; it's a very good choice, if you can afford it, you should be going for a MD321H

The FP Green turbo from Scoobymania is what I am running at 400bhp for now. Once I get round getting the internals upgraded then either add another set of injectors or upsize what I am running now and 500 hp is not a problem.
