Default heat wrapping headers

im thinking of heat wrapping my classic headers and up pipe how much heat wrap do i need to buy to do the job properly .

bout 20 meters used 30 on mine but did d/p as well

of course it depends how wide the wrap is of course !!!!

used 2" on mine

thanks mate was thinking 2inch yep and maybe do my down pipe did u use the metal tie wraps to hold it on

used galvanised steel wire and doubled it then doubled it again,then just twisted round with some pliers

did it on the car as well

what a chew

Just did my headers and up-pipe used 25 meters of 2" wide wrap.

i used the 2" x 50' stuff off a guy on ebay, although that was for gt spec headers

i think the sellers name was 800bhp
