Default Oil mist around Turbo

Hi

Could anyone give a bit of a clue to a problem i have with a smoke haze around the Turbo. I purchased the car (never owned a Subaru before) and after the car has been stood for a couple of days i take it for a hard drive and a oil haze appears around the Turbo, even when sat with the engine ticking over you can see it through the engine vent on the bonnet.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm no expert, but that sounds like a potential engine fire to me.
You might want to get it looked at.

It may be worth having a good look around the engine bay to see if you can see an oil leak.

It's prob the rocker gasket. mine tends to smoke a bit when left for a few days.

Rocker gasket. Did mine yesterday while changing the plugs. 6 Bolts to get off, not a bad job. A smear of sealant around the gaskets and bolt washers should do the trick.

Cheers for the advice. I think it points to the gasket as most of the posts head toward this.
