can any one tell me what these hoses are please?

Hi everyone, I have a 1995 import wrx, have notice i have a small coolant leak that was running down the oil filter , then notice these hoses have been cut/disconected, could any one tell me what they are and if they are needed, cheers

Thats a sandwich plate adapter used for running after market oil gauges. Do you have any?

No have no gauges , but the car must of had some at some point , so i could remove the sandwhich plate then , cheers

I'd do the opposite and fit an oil temp & pressure gauge, worth keeping an eye on.

Recently got worried about (relatively) low oil pressure at idle when hot, but was due a change, so used Millers CFS and the hot idle is now almost double, so happy again.
