fuel sender t-piece getting hot
hi all,
just fitted my metal t-piece in for my defi gauges sender,after driving around for a while to see if its working ok i felt the t-piece and found it to be very hot,was just woundering if this would be ok and will it catch fire.

Is it for a electrical sender, if so you could have a poor conection that is causing the sensor to heat up

hi 360ste,
its not the actual sender that is heating up(i dont think), its the metal t-piece that gets hot just worried it might get so hot it catches fire as the fuel was in a rubber fuel pipe before, but cut a piece out and added a metal t-piece to hold the sender.
