Where does the air filter go once FMIC is fitted
In the picture below you can see my air filter is wedged under the FMIC pipe. is there any filter or pipework i can get to get it away from the FMIC pipe. i have a starnge squeeky air leak type of a noise wen im in boost and im thinkin its the air tryin to rush past the the pipework into the air filter
any1 have any other ideas wot the air squeek could be

I replaced the turbo intake pipe, and the MAF is attached straight onto this, roughly under the loop in the accelerator cable.

P.S. Noise is more likely to be a boost leak, imho.

boost leak yeah i though that my self so i checked the dump valve was tight on and all seems good, i even tightend the pipe clips sum more but it still makes the noise.... could it be leaking on the FMIC pipe work?
give me a list of all places you could think of and ill test them all on the weekend

im gonna make somthing to test the system for leaks 2day but i need to know what diameter the air intake system is so i can make somthing that will fit snug in the rubber pipe thats there

to check for boost leaks you need soapy water and a spray bottle, spray it over the joints on the pipe work, then rev engine until it comes on boost, the if there is bubbles coming from joint then thats your leak!
