Got my 4 year Service and MOT coming up next month, anyone recommend which brands to get for the following parts, not sure which bits will have to be changed yet depending on their condition...

Car is a 2005 PPP WRX.

* Oil
* Oil Filter
* Air Filter (just standard paper panel I guess)
* Spark Plugs (STi ones, or those Iridium ones etc?)

Anything else?

- Motul 300V / Silkolene Pro S (or R ) / Millers CFS
- Either 10W-40 / 10W-50 / 15W-40 / 15W50
- I also think 5W-40 is recommended for New Ages

OEM Subaru - NO motor factor patterns!

* Air Filter (just standard paper panel I guess)
Yes. Or posssibly Green / Apexi / K&N / Cosworth panels...

* Spark Plugs (STi ones, or those Iridium ones etc?)
- If std or lightly modded then NGK PFR6B gapped to 0.7mm.
- If modded further, then the one-level colder PFR7B gapped to 0.65/0.6mm.
- Don't use Iridium.

Anyone clarify which Spark Plugs to get as joz mentioned above. The car is a standard 2005 PPP WRX Saloon on 97 / 99 RON Fuel.

I have done the 'Air box delete' mod to produce more Ram Air into the the intake, dnt suppose this will affect choice of spark plug?

scoober, I've just thought...the New Age heads may have a different spark plug pattern to those mentioned, and you may need different ones - not sure .
