as above im visiting a girlfriend and just had to leave my car in town (hope it dopesnt get broken into or robbed ) as i got real irratic idling then it finally just cut out. It is IAC valve error.

car is a 1995 jdm wrx. i think it might work from what ive read if i give it a clean. but im miles from home and any tools (bloody took my tool box out earlier today - fool!)

If i get a can of brake clutch cleaner what other tools do i need to get before i get the bus back to the car? and where exactly is the IAC on a 1995 wrx?

please help if you can, from what i understand i want to undo it and clean it loads with brake cleaner, is this right?

 

Unplugging it will get you home. Then you can repair it properly.
