3 year service
I'm just wondering what work I should expect to be done in my 3 year service. It is due this month.
The car is a MY06 UK 2.5ltr STI with 19K miles. It is lightly modified and spec is available in View My Scooby. Spark plugs were fitted about a year and a half ago (or 7K miles) before remap, so would doubt they would need changing yet.
I always take it to the same local specialist and intend to this time, I just like to know what is supposed to be getting done first.
Thanks in advance.

Hi mate
If its three years I guess its the 30,000 mile service which is quite a big one!
Engine oil
Oil filter
Air filter
Gear box oil
Differential oil front and back
coolant change
Can remember if there was anything else
Hope this helps mate

Went back to him with this list and he said £200 with the transmission service as he hadn't quoted for that. Musn't have realised it was necessary.
Using Motul oil too, only the best for the D. Air filter not needed.

I am going to RCMS for mine. Their 30k sevice is spot on for what I want. Like you, having modified already, some of the 3 year service items aren't applicable. I will do the coolant too but that will be done because of other parts I am adding.
D* service - to be carried out every 30000 miles or every 2.5 years
Oil filter £5.95
Sump plug washer £0.95
Fuel filter £25.44
Engine oil (5 litres @ £8.27 / litre) £41.35
Rear differential oil (1 litre @ £ 9.75 / litre) £9.75
Gearbox oil (3.5 litres @ £10.99 / litre) £38.46
Brake fluid (1.5 litres @ £4.65 / 500ml) £13.95
Labour (3 hours @ £47.50 / hour) £142.50
Sundries £3.95
Sub-Total £282.30
VAT £42.35
Total £324.65

I'm using AS Performance. It does seem very cheap compared to what you chaps are paying, but I trust Alyn (the owner) with my motor. Never let me down so far.
I got the same quote from Revolution, another well respected local specialist whom I often buy parts from.
