Should be on the metal plate under the bonnet on the passenger side suspension turret.

Yes,
assuming you need to know/match your car's ORIGINAL color then check the 'COLOR CODE' on the metal VIN plate...

It's riveted to the top of the turret, in plain view (can't miss it...)

Its 952 apparently, but it has had some paint work on sometime of its life as there are some bits of trim with oversparay on

According to that charrt, 952 was EXCLUSIVE to MY1993 only... with 47A running across all Classic years.
So you've got a rare ol' colour there my boy.

Nope.
Evertything's fine. That's a regular MY93 WRX model code, trim, engine, gearbox etc (all the same as my 93 WRX, except the colour lol... plus I've got a nice new ZEN-rebuilt engine in mine
).
