Window tint removal please

Has anyone any ideas how to remove limo tint from windows, easiest way .etc

Use a small steamer like for cleaning tile grout comes off in one with the glue

I got done for front tints on my focus last year.

This is what i did

Kettle of hot water poured on the ouside of the window to soften the glue

Pulled the film off

Used an old rag an some meths to get the glue off. Took a bit of elbow grease but i have done worse jobs :-)

Then used a stanley to clean it up after wards

hot paint gun but dnt hold it too close to the glass a blade and it will peel off

As said above, you need to get the window hot. My mate did his evo on a really hot day in direct sunlight. Worked a treat!

Did my STi last night, the rear windows had a dark tints to them that come standard on JDM cars that I didnt like, took me 4 hours all in, all I used was a hair dryer and some paint thinners and a small blade to lift the corners up.

gonna try it in the next week or so.
I know its gonna be a boring Job, i just sold my Mint Classic and got me a V7 STI Blob front convertion, so i'll be sleeping in it for a while.
