Looking for the exact location for the Auto gearbox ecu on a 2.0 na classic

have converted to fwd using 1.6 gearbox etc and alls fine but want to sort the niggles and need to disconnect auto box module/ecu, my cd etc says it should be around the instrument, drivers footwell area. i have yet to discover it though

any info appreciated, someone will have been to the module b4 no doubt.
