Default Do I need to change fuel pump?

I am looking at having a EcuTek remap done on my 2006 WRX and am not sure if the fuel pump needs to be uprated. I have a full 2.5" exhaust system with a 100cell sports cat fitted to keep me MOT friendly, and a K&N induction kit. Some things I read say that I do need to upgrade, and others say it is not needed, but I dont want to cause any problems by starving the engine of fuel. Anyone got any ideas please? Cheers. Rob

Speak to where you are going to go for the remap. They will be able to advise you and may do a deal on the cost and fitting of the pump.

Ok, will do. Guess they are the experts. Anyone have any knowledge of Cotcomp as they are the nearest EcuTek dealer to where I am?

I've got the Powerstation performance upgrade on my 06WRX, sounds much like you're planning - 3" turbo back with sports cat, panel filter, ecutek remap. Got to c. 290bhp, the OEM fuel pump was fine.

Having said that, now looking at putting a new turbo in and a further remap, so I'm putting a new fuel pump in to be on the safe side - £80 on ebay and an easy install
