Hi guys. I have my check engine lamp showing on my STi. I have repaired the fault myself but cant cancel the lamp. I dont want to take it to the dealer as they charge a fortune for not alot of work!. I hear there is a method of connectors under the drivers side dash that can be connected to cancel the lamp? Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks guys

out of interest what fault did you have? Mine has come up with the lamp too, would be interested in resetting mine when its sorted!

you cannot reset the CEL on the newage with under dash connectors, this is for the classic only.

however, the ecu should reset itself after 6 or so engine starts if the fault has been corrected. The fault will remain in the memory though until the fault code is read & removed by either a dealer or anyone with the correct software.

Ditto, every 6 or 10 engine starts the ECU carries out a 'self test' and will then cancel the CEL if the problem is gone.
