HOW MANY THOUSAND MILES DOES A CAM BELT NEED CHANGING ON A 1994 WRX IMPORT?

If it has not been done or you have no paper work to prove that it has ever been done before, I would change it due to the age to be on the safe side. UK cars say 48 mths or 60,000 miles, I could not imagine that imports would be that different.

Like Tezza said, if you don't know when it was last done, get it changed. It was the first thing I did on my 93 WRX coz I didn't fancy shelling out for a new engine I would imagine they need changing at the same period as uk ones

uk cars up to the new bug eye shape are every 45,000 mls the bug eye is every 60,000 mls
