boost solinoid mod
did this mod by drilling a 3mm hole in to the pipe on the solinoid it was the one that went to the actuator mine has only 2 pipes that go onto the solinoid as i was drilling it it went thru the other side
dont think this is right is it guys what can i use just to fill the hole back up

Boost solenoid mod
Sounds more like, boost solenoid murder
Where you drilling the rubber/silicon pipe or the metal pipe that is part of the solenoid its self, and what did/do you expect to gain??

The only drilling i am aware of in connection with the BCS is that of the brass restrictor pill
. If you drill a hole in the pipe going to the wastegate this will only give you uncontrolled overboost as the wastegate will not recieve the pressure to open it

this guy told me about it when i was asking about cleaning the solenoid it has worked i can feel more boost its just i drilled all the way thro and dont think i needed to so i repaired the hole and it seems to work
what he said,
Whilst you got it off why don't you do the boost mod and drill out the solinoid I think I used a 3mm dia drill this will increase spool up and should give you 2-3psi more boost!
One of the best mods I made as it was free and what a difference it made!
The standard boost solinoid is very restrictive!
