great service time and time again, Simon has exclusively mapped my cars for a fair few years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

well thank you all very much, do you think that it is better doing it this way than in the garage, you all think it will be worth doing then, the car is totally standard black 2004 sti

yep, even though it is standard you will get a nice increase and a better drive, and better fuel economy off boost as well. Off course a remap comes into its own though when you have modded the car

The jingle simply went:-
"HO HO HO" [with a booming echo effect]... # Greeeen Giant # [sung in a male American voice].
There' was no "Jolly" anywhere to be seen or heard ...... apart from on here, of course! LOL!

Well, if no extra mods I'd personally wouldn't bother.
If you fit a decat downpipe, then yes - do it! You can prob pick up a 2nd hand bellmouth job for £60 anyway, so it's a no brainer. A remapped decatted downpipe'd Impreza is ALWAYS worth doing... you should see over 300bhp!

ok thanks for your advice and help, in which case i will prob leave it as it is, it is plenty quick enough for me as it is, and if you don't think its worth it i won't bother

Not sure what sort of bhp gain you'd get on mapped std car - possibly 20? Maybe more?
Ask JGM's advice - he'll sort you out...

why the not bother? yes more gains with mods but should be in the region of 300/300 once remapped.. so 45bhp should be a nice gain..
custom mapping to current setup be it standard or modded will still see nice gains
Simon
