Default what mods can i do to get more power

i'm quite new to modding on the scooby scene as i've only modded my old 03 reg ibiza to 200bhp but that was a diesel.

right the questions i need an answer for is these

i have a 2002 51 reg bugeye wrx sti ppp type uk i know it's pushing about 305bhp but it has been decatted so it should be pushing abit more power. what i want to know is how much more power can i get out of the turbo before i have to upgrade it and what other mods can i do to increase the power? i'm looking to increase my 0.60 times but if i do have to go bigger turbo what do i need to buy as i am looking in the range of 400-450 bhp.

second question does my car have any type of dccd or lsd fitted to it if does what type if not can i fit these? or can i fit ayc to it and does anyone know how much this would cost?

thanks for the help in advance

the standard turbo with decat and remap would see you to about 330bhp roughly.. the ppp never maps 305 and the decat is unlikely to increase the power at peak much just spread the power band a little and possible introduce boost spikes.

400~450bhp - injectors, turbo change, remap.. turbos - md321T, td05 20g etc..

To fit DCCD you need to change the centre diff to a dccd one, along with adding the controller for it and wiring.. fair amount of work.

so how much will it be to fit this then? To fit DCCD you need to change the centre diff to a dccd one, along with adding the controller for it and wiring.. fair amount of work? or will lsd be easier to fit?

You already have F and R LSDs (I think!). Would think it's a major job to do a DCCD conversion. Have you considered getting your suspension upgraded, whiteline ARB will reduce understeer significantly and is pretty cheap.

In terms of power you are looking at and price then do a search on here, plenty of examples tho not sure about cost.

thats what i thought but when i asked this question a few weeks ago no1 replyed to it, do you know where i can get this info from then? it's already lowered on spax as thats what the car came with. i do need to buy some white line arb for the front and rear. i did use the search but it didn't come up with what i was looking for. the seatcurpa.net site i came from the search worked a lot better but not this 1 maybe i'm having a blonde day lol.

No worries mate - this is a very helpful site, believe me, some posts just get missed sometimes when there is a similar current thread (see my comment below). JGM gave you a good reply BTW and he is prob the most respected tuner on here.

Right, I have the blob STi PPP and it has front and rear LSDs - I'm 99+% sure yours does too, tho they might not be exactly the same type. I will ost up a URL thingy (**** knows how to post a link ) for you tomorrow which gives plenty of info on the blob STi PPP - yours will be v similar to this (think it might even say what the blob vs bug differences are)

If you are after 400-450 bhp there is another thread in this section, has quite a lot of discussions on that on what mods are needed, though not cost - well worth a look if you haven't already. If you go to Scoobyclinic's website they offer a package (SC450??) which I think costs £5k+, you need to check. There are plenty of others nearer your neck of he woods. Best bet is to join the other thread I mentioned and just ask the people there what it cost them, they are usually happy to answer this.

Cheers,
dnc

Edit to add the 400-450 bhp thread is on page 2 of gen tech and by scooby-93

For tech spec of 03 STi PPP see this

Car reviews | Subaru Impreza WRX technical specifications by Car Enthusiast

Think the 02 - 03 differences were slightly quicker steering rack from 03 and revised lsd's. Think most other stuff is basically the same. Might be more info on the bug in the archive?
