All of 'em!

And the most important bit, the solenoid itself where I found most of the crap to be.

Your solenoid is a little cylinder thing mounted on your driver's side suspension strut.

Brake cleaner or carburettor cleaner is best.

im in the same boat here for an MY98

looking at the suspension strut there are 3 things attached to it.

at the back (two brass things with pipes) (poss steering?)

on the side next to the brake resevoir (poss Brakes?)

on the front between the air box and the suspension strut, brass cylinder with black plastic cap and about 3 other electrical connectors on the same bracket

1. which one is it????

2. how far do i strip it??

Pics would be of a great benefit as i am a mechanical biff

cheers
chris

Best to do this during a reset with all valves clicking on and off then using a spray force break cleaner through the valve but remember to pull the pipe to the waste gate off and let the cleaner drip to floor ....NOT onto a hot DP!!!

You will hear the valve clicking more cleanly if indeed it had crud in it.
