Question turbo timer and alarm issues

Hi all, i know this probably pops up all the time, but cant seem to find it anywhere. how can i over come the problem of when i turn keys off car stays running as expected and i can lock the doors with the keys but i cant alarm the car. i have a 2002 wrx with satnard alarm

any help will be much appreciated

ive had a clifford alarm fitted to every scoob ive had mate and each time they have removed the turbo timer and replaced it with one built into the alarm not sure if thats any help to you but ive always being led to believe thats the only way of having both......however dont take that as gospel as im far from an expert...

you will not be able to arm the alarm due to the alarm seeing the ignition live, this is here for 2 reasons 1 to stop people arming the alarm whilst driving and the second is in the alarm the immobiliser relay uses this cable as when the ignition is off it turns to a negative.

I have a Clifford with remote start and a seperate Turbo timer, it all works fine on my Bugeye. The turbo timer was fitted prior to the alarm.

You had to press a key on a clifford for the turbo timer to run, if your car is just running then i would be a little worried, i take it,it turns off after a set ammount of time?
