u would be extremely lucky to fetch that sort of power,mine would only fetch 238bhp!obviously depends on condition of turbo,think most people getting around 250 ish.

Quite low that though, the 99-00 car with PPP is quoted as 240BHP with 16psi boost and fairly conservative modifications. I ditched my TD04 for something bigger but 280 max was the figure near enough all tuners gave me on the TD04. 'max' being the operative word I should think, and 260-70 more realistic.

So what turbo should be fitted to a MY97 WRX? Mine has a TD04 L but the standard car is rated at 280 ps. I hope it hasn't been swapped by a previous owner!

Mmmmmm yours should have a VF22 (if it's a saloon) a WRX wagon has the td04
