Default spec c battery

hi i new some help.. my spec c wouldnt start in the freezing cold (tons of snow) is it because it doesnt have enough cold cranking amps?

i took it out and its rated as 360 CCA. (i also ran the battery out as few times but charged it and it always started in normal weather)

what do you think is the cause?

and what would the best replacement be?

the battery just now is...

12v

CCA SAE 360amps

AH (20h) 35amps

190mm x 120mm

id like some more CCA, and all the batteries ive seen vary in specs. such as 26AH, 18AH etc what are the safe limits?

would i be wrong to assume if it fits (dimension wise) then its ok to use?

cheers
