If you replace half the engine, yes

In order to fit a twin scroll unit you would need to change the headers, up-pipe, down-pipe and the sump.

There are much better turbos around than the twin scroll ones.

All things being equal, a twin scroll unit will outperform a single scroll couterpart pretty much everywhere except for the highend rpm range, where the twin scroll exhaust housing becomes a slight restriction in itself.

The Litchfield camp are doing some impressive work in developing hybrid twin scroll units that will provide high end power with quick spool up.

I had a hybrid twin scroll turbo on my car running 1.8bar and I wasn't impressed thats why I now have a single scroll turbo. But all things aren't equal as he is asking about a twin scroll turbo on a UK car and £ for lb its a proper no brainer

You will find the twin scroll spools up that little but quicker but on a power graph it would eventually come in line with the uk turbo higher up in the rev band. The H321 is good turbo alternative, not cheap though but neither is the twin scroll.

Twin scroll is still in its infancy when it comes to turbo's, it is the way ahead, this is why you are seeing more and more manufacturers going for it, less lag and better power delivery from low down and much smoother than a single scroll.
Its not worth going from a single scroll to a twin scroll, but the developement of the twin scroll hybrids will eventually outweigh that of the single scroll turbo's and they will become the norm

Interesting. I hope Litchfield & others do develop bigger & better twin scroll turbos in the future
