Someone else was enquiring about the 90deg hose part of the STi 8 Y-piece but I couldn't help him - see here:

https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...e-classic.html

However, 2fast2cool2 do the complete metal/silicone Y-piece:

Not sure about a Samco all-in-one silicone replacement though ... Unless you approach them and get the pattern prototyped... and suffer the costs!

I'd say an all-in-one silicone job would be better, as internally it'll be a smooth as possible. It'll also avoid the step of the metal Y-pipe's lip, thus avoiding the associated turbulence as the air rushes up to, and over, it...

I'm not sure you'll find an all-in-one silicone Y-hose that fits between a STi8 IC and turbo on a classic.
But it is possible to buy one and if it doesn't fit (it's only distance forward-aft that differs) cut it and put a length of 2" pipe in-between the parts to elongate/reduce length .
For my part I purchased the IC incl. alu/rubber y-piece, but had to get a longer 90 deg. hose to reach the turbo!

Oh yeah, forgot about that guide!

Well, it IS a proper Samco one, so ring 'em up and ask where your nearest stockist is...

eggy we're being ****'eads!

The Samco Y-pipe and alloy inlets are the upgrade for a MY99/00 STi IC... BUT... just happen to bolt straight upto the STi8 IC's flanges!

...EDIT: as per what notfub has just posted below - option 2...

There's two options;

1. Stick with the STI8 hard y pipe and add a suitable 90 degree silicon elbow. My pipe does not have the small join down one of the legs as in it's completely solid metal.

2. Use an MY99/00 intercooler pipe and use this with silicon y pipe.

Take a look at the options below (pic linked via scoobypedia)

Definitely the bottom option i.e. the MY99/00 all-in-one Samco Y-pipe upgrade bolted onto the STi 8 IC

NOTE: As you can see, don't push the Y-pipe's legs right up to the ally stop-tabs... or otherwise the turbo end will be under too much strain through not fitting correctly, and no doubt will be forced off under boost!

The images have to be hosted on the internet first e.g. on an existing web page (or do it yourself by using Photobucket, etc). Then you right click and select 'View Image' from the drop down menu and then copy the displayed web address to the clipboard. Then paste the address into your post and add at the end... or paste the web address into that 'Insert Image' tab.

(If using photobucket to host yourself, then the uploaded images have their own dedicated copying option).
