changed my fuel pump is it right...
right i changed my fuel pump today all seemed to go well but i have a few questions then a few concerns can anybody help
1. the original fuel pump was almost double the size of the walbro item is this right?
2.is it also right that they cable tie the original pump inplace as mine was?
and my concerns
a couple of hours after fitting it now seems to just die as in power i will be pootling along at around 2k revs and bang no power i have to let off the accelerator for a second for it to come back on? also does it occasionally when im pulling away at juctions very dangerous!
any help or advice would be appriceiated
only mods i have until 2mo is the uprated pump and a dump valve

Point 1 is right mate the std pump is massive compared to the walbro! but shouldn't be cable tied in, sounds like its been out before!
Check Your fittings on the pump mate pos the cables\pump are coming loose in the tank. Or you haven't done the clips up tight. Check that if not then pos pump is faultly did you clip the fliter bag on the pump??
