Can anyone help
My lovely subaru impreza battery stopped charging.
I took out my speedometer, drove the car. Then i found out that the battery stopped charging. Do you think because the speedometer is not connected

 

alternator issue of some sort, they do go pop from time to time.

 

I though your engine was blown Have a spare alternator in my shed somewhere

 

Do you mean just the speedo or the dash pod is disconnected. If dash pod then the alternator is probably not getting an ind feed as it runs though the battery light on the dash
