Clifford alarm and MI600 immobiliser
Any one know any thing about the above mentioned security systems? I disconnected my negative battery terminal, and it has meesed up the alarm. The car has a clifford concept 600 alarm and a MI600 immobiliser. After disconnecting the battery terminal, i can no longer lock/un lock start or do any thing with my car and its now P***ING me rite off. I have tryed every thing in the owners manuals to no avail. This is extremly annoying. Any one got any suggestions that may help?

Strange to have a second imob as con 600 is cat one with built in imob.
The clifford should of kept it's settings, is the remote for the clifford working it at all, is the clifford arming? possible blown fuse if no features working

I agree, it is strange to have two immo's. However i have only had the car a week and this was done by the previouse owner. The remote is not working at all, and the alarm will not arm. I have checked the fuses and the are all ok. I have followed cliffords step by step instructions to disarm the alarm and this has not worked. I really dont know what else i can do? I can't lock or start the car!!!

Is the alarm light coming on? as clifford alarms will turn on after roughly 30secs this is the imob and can't be turned off.
If there is no life to the alrm there's either a wire off or the blown fuse, which fuses did you check, as the clifford ones are in a little black holder

My clifford has a blue led in the head light that flashes when the alarm is set. But this is not flashing as the alarm is'nt working. The only other light thats flashing is a red one by the speedo. When i turn the ignition on i have no ignition lights what so ever. How many fuses does the clifford have? The one i have checked is pushed into a little black holder under the steering rack. Should i be looking at some thing else?

iirc there is 3 fuses all in the black casing, if blue led not lighting then you have no power to the alarm hence can't start car.
when you took the neg lead of did you notice any other wires? I would double check that there is no loose wires there, thin black one possibly

I have just double checked all wiring to the battery and i cant see any loose wires. Where will the fuses be located? Have just checked under the dash and cant seem to find them. Cant really see it being a fuse tho, as the alarm was fine right up untill i disconnected the negative battery terminal. Thanks for your help.
