as above i have had the engine light come on for a few seconds then went off did this last week and got code 22 knock sensor i did a reset and its been fine all week then today it came back only for a second or so again code 22 so i guess i best change it

question is any one know how much they are and does any one other than subaru make them can anyone help

 

Sure it's not just doing it's job and sensing knock?

 

I had the same thing, get it changed. piece of ****, just a bit fiddly.

 

im assuming that if the check engine light shows fault 22 then surely that would mean that there is a fault with the knock sensor??

 

yeah it a sensor problem i have checked with det cans ther aint any knock to wory about got ring round see if i can get one asap

 

just bought one off ebay £73 genuine subaru.
