HOW DO I RESET THE ECU ON MY 2000 IMPREZA?

Default HOW DO I RESET THE ECU ON MY 2000 IMPREZA?

I AV CLEANED MY MAF SENSOR, AND NOW THE PROBLEMS B4 HAVE GONE, BUT NOW MY CHEAK ENG LIGHT IS ON, SO WANT TO TRY A RESET TO GET RID OF IT, ANY ONE NO HOW TO DO IT?

Think you have to plug into the ecu port under the steering wheel to reset on your model using diagnostic machine like the later ones , only on pre 97 can you use the connectors under dash.

There is prob a certain way to do it. but I usually just unplug the ecu.. leave for 20 mins etc. then plug back in. faults cleared.

where is the plug to pull out on my model?
