BKR7EIX is not the best plug to use, more prone to misfire than PFR7b at the same gap. As mentioned above the coilpacks may well be damaged when removing them, you should ensure they don't twist as you undo or you'll crack the ends. The resin potting in the top of the OE coilpack starts off life a creamy colour, if it's brown/black they're probably about for the bin.

Check coils, check gaps, remedy as required.

I put in BKR7EIX last week gapped to0.7mm.
THEY WERE AWEFULL!!!
Missfired in two cylinders and had to get subaru grarage to clear ecu.
I threw them out.........bought PFR7B, gapped them to 0.7mm and they run like std plugs.
BTW are they BKR7EIX or BKR7EIX-11?

i fitted plugs without checking the gaps. Then fitted a new turbo and was getting a viloent misfire on boost. Was told to gap the plugs to 0.6mm and that cured the problem.

Now when the cars cold and on choke it misses sumtimes. Bit annoying but not sire what is causing that. Coil packs seem good and so are the gaps. Im running 7's now.

Any ideas?

Judging by what people have said, it might be worth getting some PFR's and gap them at .7mm

Thought you may have been advocating a much smaller gap.
Sometimes humour doesn't always shine thru I guess!
Or maybe I just wasn't awake
Stop being so observant anyway - our government never wants anyone to pay attention; those who do will be removed...

From what I've seen, Bob R recommends a 0.65mm gap

My dealer fits PFR6B's IIRC. The 7's should in theory be better (again IIRC!)
