I know what you mean. ok say the cars engine is capable of 700bhp.

And the turbo has to be in the stock position.

I know every car is different depending on what modds its had done.

cheers

You could probably buy a very old second hand turbo from a drag car for £1k and hit 1000bhp But why???? You haven't said whether your car is rotatesd setup or standard position turbo... if standard, there isn;'t a whole lot out there for 500, apart of the high end MD turbos, but not many of those will be up <£1k. If rotated there's probably a few 2nd hand GT series turbos available for that sort of money.

Andy Forrest's 20G turbo ... around the £800 mark and about 400bhp is the best I could think of for under £1000.

As said, if you have an engine capable of the performance why shortchange it with a cheap turbo for the sake of £500 ?

There is a VAST difference between the performance of an FP Green and my MD321V.... well worth the £500 in my opinion. You can make you own mind up as to whether 100 lb/ft difference all the way up the rev range is worth it.

The FP Red made 520bhp on my 2L, another customer made 550bhp with a 2.5L (infact every one we have sold has made at least 500!)

You will need to find an extra £29.25 though

Jase.
