Default What Power V What Size Diameter Zorst U Running?

They say big is best but to be honest my 3.5" APS Zorst is starting to become a little embarassing for my older reserved taste, its just too loud and too droany. Dont get me wrong I love my Porsche beating Scoob but need a little more of the incognito look, so my question is what power are you running on a smaller Zorst and exit with a minimal 2.5" / 3" system ideally not with the drainpipe outlet tailpipe, Im concerned that the smaller size bore will be restrictive for power gain??

it's the bore of the pipework not the size of the exit pipe that is important.

Exactly, thats what im trying to ascertain ! My 3.5" "bore" APS system unfortunately is too loud and the tailpipe which i beleive is around 4.5" is too big, im trying too find out what size "bores" and power people are running without being restrictive and hopefully with smaller exits!

3" exhaust is sufficient for 550-600hp, but the 3.5" APS exhaust is renowned for promoting a little boost creep on newage STIs, causing more held boost and more top end power.

Shame !

I think mine is a 3" APS need to check.

dunx

P.S. I removed a catted TSL system that was 2-5/8ths in the centre, and MAY have strangled the 400+ bhp, I'm nearly ready for !

Mine is 3 inch Miltek with a 4 inch exit and centre resonator box running 545bhp and is very quiet compared to most.
