lightly modded '07 wrx. green air filter, decat & tsl exhaust, air-intake-resonator delete, mapped at powerstation a year ago to 286bhp, but lots of modifiers seems are fitting walbro255's. is it necessary and if i fit. will i need another mapping.

For that level of tune, and bearing in mind how young your car is, then I reckon you're okay on the OEM one.

That said, the pumps are only a max of £80 new these days, so................

Forgot to add...

If you do get one fitted, then best get a map tweak to compensate for the extra flow to the injectors.
