Default Classic Oil Leak

Hi, I have a 98 Terzo which has developed a very slight oil leak. Annoying more than a problem. It will drip a couple of drops after a good run. Spoils the drive and garage floor.
What are the most common oil leaks on a classic. I have had engine under tray off but as the leak is so small I have been unable to pin point. When engine underside is cleaned does not drip again for a week. Oil gathers at back of engine around the central area. Steering rack appears to be ok.
Car only has 31K.

Thanks

if its dead centre at the rear its could be the front crank seal, it will travel backwards, best bet is get under with a rag/paper towel and clean it down, give it a thrash and go back and see if there are any obvious signs.

Cam covers are a common problem too.

If you find it's the front seal, always remove the oil pump as well and check the screws on the back are tight, it's common to find them loosening off.

Another point, if it is the front seal, you'll be needing a new cambelt aswell ......

Spent a bit of time looking for this leak today. Definately not from front of engine. Cam covers both dry. Appears to be from lower part of bell housing to rear of engine.
Rear crank seal??
Any more thought from you guys?
Thanks

How much for clutch change?
If it turns out to be rear crank seal it would have contaminated the clutch. Is that correct? Then would make sense to change clutch at same time as rear crank seal. Although there is only 31K on car.

The labour whould be around the £200 mark, then the price of the clutch you fit. I'd take it somewhere to get it checked out first, like Api, Zen ect, to get some proper advise, would only take an hours labour.
