Just a guess...

You're making max power by c.4,800rpm then it seems to drop away sharply? Surely power should peak, or at least be maintained, to at least about 6,000rpm no? Is it a diesel? lol

Plus, you haven't exactly got a flat torque curve

It's weird how the power and torque curves follow so closely.

Looking at your boost and AFR curves, I think it might have overboosted and hit fuel cut?

At 4,200-4,600rpm, the A/F is at low MAP pressure - is this something to do with running lean at this part of the rev range, therefore boost cut, hence the low MAP reading?

If this is right, I'll be well annoyed, as this was my very first thought lol

No ! It's meant as a bit of fun, I know the answer, but that's cheating...

LOL

P.S. No boost cut, as it reaches 1.6 bar comfortably !

I think reason why power and torque seem to follow is because run was aborted, by the quiz reason....
AFR seem reasonably ok until boost falls. There is a momentary regain of boost before it falls again.
Did the BOV fail and when boost fell it started to close again but by then run was already aborted by you/techincan? Or is it same but a hose sprang a leak but started to close up but by then....
As I know fuel was ok and engine is still in one piece

Almost always run on V-Power + octane booster !

The run was "set" to stop at 5k rpm as I suspected a fault !

I wasn't even in the dyno cell at the time, so I'm not to blame.... however it is true that I can't drive

LOL

Oh ! what the hell...

At 4800 rpm the AFR spikes vertical !

A couple of hundred more would have melted a piston !

The answer is....

Fitted a bigger turbo, but hadn't got to a mapper, so was just checking things out !

Glad I didn't go over 4500 rpm !

Merry Xmas !

And thanks to all for taking part, hope this filled a little of your day !

Plus, I wasn't exactly a million miles off (it was a bit tenuous for people to guess that a turbo had been changed )

Or am I talking cr@p?

I don't get it, the afr rushes up at just the revs where the run was aborted.
Boost rised evenly with good afr, it only leans out when boost falls, doesn't it?

Looks like a good bit of work needs doing on the boost control valve. Are you going to fit a 3 port boost solenoid prior to re-map as this will give better control.

Actually Craig at MRC in Leeds swears by the Perrin one as an esential mod !

The engine may well become a 2.1 stroker next month !
