Question repost in here

ok i posted this else where any help guys ??

#1 (permalink) changed the lambda today and the one i had brought second hand was a blackish colour and mine when i took it off was a whiteish colour

will post some pics tomorrow .but from what i have said what ya reckon ??

its a 95 wagon .

and as a added note checked all fuses and all ok and it still is affecting the air/fuel meter when the lights come on .and is running ruff when first started .and hunts on idle some times when at normal temps too .

also cleaned the crank sensor as there was a little (very little) amount of gunk on it

so thats a replaced maf / lambda and cleaned crank sensor and all fuses checked .no shorts in the lighst as they all work and dont go all cranky when indicators on or brake pedal pushed etc havent checked the earth cables and have had a visual look at all pipes and none seem too bad

Just had lambda probs myself, iirc black/sooty is not a good sign,(same as spark plugs) means engine is running to rich so ya new one could be fcukd. Could try unplugging the lambda and see if the car runs any different! Hth
