I read, in this weeks Autocar, with interest that there are no rear speakers in 5 door models. I'm taking delivery of a 5 door and would like to fit some in the rear. Anybody know a) where they can be fitted seeing as I need all the boot space, b) what is a decent make to fit in the rear and what make to replace the crappy fronts with.

I have a Jap inport and four five years I've had an echo in the back I thought were speakers ? are they not standard then ?

There's rear speakers in the 03, and I think in most of 'em???

What model year?

 

 

in a 94 wagon they are in the back above strut tops.. on 97 - 01 they are in the rear doors..

 

and in 02, 03 they're in the rear doors too

 

There were rear speakers in my MY95 WRX...exactly the same as those in the front.
