Not all folks appreciate pork. AND in any case we do the bacon butties thing on Satur-daze.
However I was impressed that whilst the guys were doing the clutch in record time, they managed to sweep the floor with carefully inserted brooms
Thanks for your custom TKK - glad we could help.

thats one hell of a knowledge of a scoob, I used to be able to remove a cvh engine in 19 mins and have the replacement back in within the hour, down to doing the job time and time again.

It's true, I was there (Tkk, I'm the one with the black WRX 2.5 conversion).
It was an F1 style change, and there were two guys involved (ever tried bench pressing a gearbox?). They can really shift when 5pm starts approaching
TBH, they were MUCH later than 5pm trying to get my new engine's boost under control It seems I have enough for two engines but they stayed late to get it sorted enough for me to get home and try again another day...

When I had a depot in Dublin selling just replacement engines for Japanese cars, we had 2 ramps and 2 engine fitters.
Between them, they 'managed ' to do 3, sometimes 4, cars a week. Totally uneconomic. So we laid them off and closed the section.
The two guys then approached me and asked that if they set up on their own using a garage at one guys house - would we pass the work their way ?
Of course we would, as there was nothing wrong with their workmanship, just the amount of it.
When they set up they ' managed ' two engine fits PER DAY.
That tell you anything ?
My guys here are good but as NXG says they tend to get faster as close time comes. Human nature - I don't have a problem with that.

PS you got home then NXG?
