Default Advice needed - Best way to raise boost 95 wrx

As above i have a 1995 WRX import,

have a few mods, but am going to fit a few more then go for a remap, but think with these mods i understand i could raise the boost a bit. was thinking no more than 1.5 bar

the mods are
hybrid FMIC
standard td05 16g
440cc injectors
warlboro
tubular headers
3" turbo back exhaust with sports cat.
fuel press reg (if needed??)
HKS F-CONS ecu

now i understand my (map sensor?) is limited to 0.89 bar of boost. if i fit a later one i.e a 1999 one can i then raise the boost to 1.5?
or do i need to get a seperate boost controller and the 1999 map sensor?

i dont fully understand what a map sensor is, and if it controls the boost, or if i need to buy a seperate controller before the remap?

can anyone shed a bit of light on the above, as im a little confused

Your map sensor will limit max boost to about 1.2bar (standard ecu for a 95 wrx is running just under 0.9 bar).

well you can raise the boost with the ecu when it gets remapped.

Greddy Profec SpecB II
Apexi AVCR (think this is very popular)
Harvey does Hybrid boost controllers (he posts on here as Harvey or he has his advert on scoobynet) these are only about £100ish

link to Harvey index

i think you've asked this question before haven't you

Are you on standard internals? Pistons will turn to mush pretty soon running that boost, if the head gaskets don't fail first. Don't want to sound negative but you need a sound bottom end before anything else.

1.1-1.2bar.
1.5 bar is normally the limit of a td05 turbo.

Don't forget thought the extra stress put on the gearbox and clutch
