Default Walbro Upgrade

hi does anyone know if the fuel pump is the same on a import classic wrx and sti?is it worth upgrading to a walbro on a sti or does a sti have a better pump already?cheers

think it depends on what other mods u gonna do with it, dont thik it'll make much diff just changing pump, car is mapped an set up for that pump, just my opion,

a lot of people including myself have upgraded to the walbro, unless you are running big power i dont think its necessary

just usual mods such as full decat,air filter,dv, ive just heard that the car runs alot better and gets rid of lil jerks etc,not sure if thats true but wanted to know if the walbro is uprated compared to the standard sti pump?

it might be better seeing u had full de-cat etc, but would prob only denifit if u had it mapped after,

i only changed mine coz i had the simtec fitted,

It wont hurt to replace a old/worn pump.

thx for that guys, ill probably end up doing it, read a few posts here regarding pumps getting old a makin the car run lean etc..
