Default Flywheel slightly scored

Annoyingly the clutch we bought from the local auto factor is the wrong one so our car is stuck up on a ramp with nowhere to go for a minute.

Also, the flywheel is "slightly" scored, but is that acceptable. The last thing i want is to leave it and find out it judders after having a new clutch fitted.

Can the OE flywheel take a bit of scoring?

Do you know what the going rate is for a skim/balance?

If it's light scoring I wouldn't worry about it too much.

As for a skim and balance you're looking at around £40

Definately have a skim - consider getting it lightened as well for extra £50-£60 as well while you're at it!

Forget having an OEM flywheel lightened. Not done properly they can be a disaster that will cost you thousands!!!

Alls good. Didnt bother with a skim or balance. Replaced the clutch with a decent excedy one and no judder.
