Default FAO of those with V5/6 sti's + upgraded turbos!

ok looking to upgrade the turbo on my sti now i will have some money.. decided against buying a seperate track car.

so what turbos have uyou used when upgrading?

im going to run around 340bhp until the engine goes then ill aim for as close to 400 as i can after a rebuild.

so what turbo would you recommend me over standard? as i have heard that the stanndard turbo gets laggy at 340bhp?

what have you got? and why did you choose that specific turbo?

ideally a bolt on replacement turbo..

hopefully hearing your stories and experience will help me pick one.

Many Thanks

If it's only 340bhp then surely a VF43 would be a better choice?

Or do you mean that you want the turbo to do 340 now and 400 also later? If so, then the post above is right.

Thats right mate, around 340bhp now then room for improvement after rebuild as i have a bad habit of modding ande not stopping lol

and is he referring to the TD0520G turbo? if so which one? i see asll sorts, such as hybrids and andy fporest tdo-5 etc.

also its going to be a road car so just want a very good and practical fast road car with the odd track day here n there, probs once a year.
