Dump Valve Fitting
It is there, ive got a version 3 and planning to put a blitz bov on it so i checked today. its not exactly where his one is on the picture but it sits between the intercooler and red manifold, ill take a pic tomorrow

If you do have a v3/v4 97/98, the dump valve will not be bolted to the intercooler and I get fed up when people offer advice when they don't know what they are talking about. rolleyes:
ma99 is right. Follow the pipe from the right hand side of the intercooler. It will be a black plastic bosch unit.

Chrispurvis is right - your cars DV should be along that black pipe heading down at 90 deg to the intercooler - like in the pics off Pistonheads (thats a v3/v4 engine).

Either your car's intercooler has been changed for a 99/2000 (version 5/6) model or your car itself is a version 5 or 6 as all ver 3&4 Sti DVs are as shown in the above pic.

My car is a version 3 and no its not bolted onto the intercooler
I think i was wrong when i said its under that red circle, ive been told today that it is actually connected to that black pipe that comes from the intercooler and runs down the side of it. its a black unit
