I gap my PFR7B's to 0.65mm, splitting the difference between the recommended 0.6 -0.7mm..
TBH I'm not sure how much difference it would make if they were 0.1 over that..
One thing for sure, ALWAYS check new plugs before fitting, even ones that claim to be pre-gaped..

No damage. Possibly not getting the best spark and therefore effecting performance..?
TBH I doubt it'll have much if any effect. If you're bothered take them out and regap, it's not as bad as people make out.
You just need to remove air box (if you still have one) two bolts and a jube clip on the OS, ~1min and move washer bottle (two bolts again) up onto suspension turret on NS (note you only have to unplug washer pump power supply, as washer hoses have enough play to remain connected ie no need to drain bottle) ~2 mins.
This leaves enough access to change plugs easily, provided you have a 50-75mm extension for your plug socket. Taking your time about 30 mins, a bt more for the first time.
I'll be doing mine soon (every 12mts/12k)..

Good guide..
I'd only add that you don't need to move/remove battery and washer bottle can be moved up onto the suspension turret leaving pump/washer pipework connected (you don't even have to drain it..). You do have to unplug electrical connector from pump, but that's just a plug to pull out..
I've just taken delivery of a set of PFR7b's and I will be checking and re-gaping if nec (which they usually do as they're all different..!).
Where did yours say not to re-gap..?
